User manual
Tea-Specific humidity control pack dosage instructions
It is necessary to select a suitable Tea-Specific humidity control pack according to various factors such as the size of the tea, storage status, storage space, storage environment, etc. The following dosage is for reference only.
Tea-Specific humidity control pack | Squeeze tea dosage | Squeeze tea dosage | Dosage of non-pressed tea |
60g | Pressed tea within 1kg | 1-3 cakes pressed tea | 1-2kg non-pressed tea |
200g | 4kg pressed tea | 1 cup or 7-10 cakes for pressed tea | 8-10kg non-pressed tea |
400g | 8kg pressed tea | 1 piece or 42 cakes pressed tea | 15kg non-pressed tea |
method of use
How to use Tea-Specific humidity control pack
step 1:Tear open the transparent plastic bag(Do not open the brown paper bag)
Step 2:Take out the Tea-Specific humidity control pack
Step 3:Place in a tea moisture-proof storage bag (cabinet, bag, box) that requires humidity control
Step 4:Close the cover (door) and keep it sealed, humidity control pack will start working immediately
Warm Reminder:
1. The function of the humidity control pack is to provide automated, energy-free moisture absorption and regulation, maintaining a dry storage environment in a small space for 3 years or longer.
2. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children.
3. Due to the limitations of household hygrometers, there may be a ±4% deviation. For higher measurement accuracy, it is recommended to use a high-precision industrial hygrometer. Ambient temperature differences will also affect the measurement accuracy of this product.
4. The active composite salt absorbing moisture and clumping is normal; please use with confidence.
5. Replace the humidity control pack promptly if all the contents harden.
6. Avoid cutting or puncturing the double-layered bag with sharp objects. If leakage occurs, replace immediately.

Precautions
Humidity Control pack Usage and Tea Storage Precautions
1. Store tea at least 15 cm away from walls and the ground.
2. It is recommended to use a large inner bag for storing tea. Earthenware jars and other ceramic containers cause significant aroma loss, wooden cabinets easily absorb the wood's odor, and cardboard boxes have poor barrier properties and easily absorb moisture. (The purpose of using a large inner bag is to create a relatively stable microenvironment, similar to the tightly closed doors and windows of a large professional tea warehouse in a tea factory, which also helps preserve the aroma.)
3. For long-term exposure to humid environments, place your tea and the humidity control pack in a large PE plastic bag (PE film has a certain moisture permeability and good oxygen permeability, similar to bamboo shoots, and does not affect the transformation).
4. Raw Pu-erh tea should be sealed separately to prevent aroma transfer. For white tea, black tea, green tea, oolong tea, and aged tangerine peel, it is recommended to use metal packaging materials such as iron cans, stainless steel cans, or pure aluminum foil for better aroma preservation.
5. Place your tea and the humidity control pack in a ceramic jar, cardboard box, cabinet with doors (bag recommended), or plastic storage box. The humidity control pack will immediately begin to work, slowly absorbing excess moisture from the tea until the humidity stabilizes between 45% and 65%.
6. For compressed tea, it takes about 2 weeks to noticeably reduce humidity in the initial stages; for compressed tea with high moisture content or large volume, complete humidity control may take 1-3 months; for loose tea, humidity control can be achieved in just 3-5 days.
7. For large volumes of tea, multiple humidity control packs can be placed inside (doubling the control speed and maintaining a dry storage environment for a longer period). Later, when the humidity is suitable at 55%-65%, open the storage compartment for 5-8 hours to allow the tea to breathe, which is more conducive to the tea's transformation.
